SevenHomes, the regional housebuilder by SevenCapital Group, has appointed Abdul Ali as executive director and head of office, following a period of sustained growth for the business.
Having joined SevenHomes in 2019 as land director, Abdul has already played an integral role in the business, having successfully secured several significant residential-led development opportunities across the region and pushing the company forward.
With more than 24 years’ experience and an enviable track record overall, Abdul also previously held land roles for national housebuilder Barratt Homes’ West Midlands division.
In his new role as executive director and head of office, Abdul will be responsible for heading up the business’ highly experienced land, planning and sales team to drive growth across land acquisition and development, as well as implementing the Groups’ strategic business objectives.
Abdul commented: “I am delighted to have been appointed as executive director and head of office for SevenHomes. Since joining the business, I have worked incredibly hard to support the land acquisition strategy and delivery of some major planning applications with consent achieved on over 600 units.
“I look forward to utilising the knowledge and experience I have gained to date, having a long and successful career with the company and supporting our highly experienced team. We have a very strong pipeline of sites to deliver in line with our growth strategy over the next three years. We remain cautious of the current market conditions and economic uncertainty but remain nimble to adapt as necessary.”
Damien Siviter, group managing director of SevenCapital Group, said: “We would like to congratulate Abdul on his promotion, which is very well deserved. We are delighted to see him step into his new role and take SevenHomes into its next chapter of growth.”
